Media literacy
We believe media literacy is an additional key component of addressing mis- and disinformation and have worked with education experts to prepare robust curricular materials.
The Content Authenticity Initiative media literacy curricula are crafted to prepare school-age students with critical media and visual literacy skills to help them better navigate the ever-changing digital information landscape. Each curriculum includes a foundational unit as well as lessons for use in social studies, the arts, and English Language Arts, with the integration of media literacy throughout all components. K12 lessons meet US Common Core State Standards. All materials can be adapted to fit instructors’ goals and course requirements.
