FUNKE Mediengruppe Joins the Content Authenticity Initiative

Today, the Content Authenticity Initiative is pleased to welcome FUNKE Mediengruppe (“FUNKE”) to our growing community of over 750 members across the media, digital content, and technology industries, which now includes The Associated Press, BBC, AFP, Getty Images, The Washington Post, CBC, Gannett, USA Today, Nikon, Qualcomm, Arm, WITNESS, and many others.

As one of Germany’s largest newspaper and magazine publishers with hundreds of publications, FUNKE is an invaluable addition to our effort to combat the global rise of misinformation and disinformation. FUNKE has a vast and diverse media portfolio, spanning print, digital and radio, as well as a range of products including brochures, catalogues and magazines that reaches millions in Germany and around the world. The company’s contribution to fighting misinformation and disinformation as a CAI partner will help ensure audiences around the globe are receiving accurate and trustworthy information.
