Content Authenticity Initiative Symposium 2023

Adobe, the CAI, and Stanford University are pleased to invite you to a symposium on bringing trust to digital content in the age of AI. Join us on December 7 for a full day of presentations and opportunities to discuss critical topics with those, like you, working toward restoring transparency and trust across our digital ecosystem.

AI is becoming more powerful and prevalent. And with the 2024 US, EU, Taiwan and UK elections fast-approaching, the need for digital provenance and clear, simple, verifiable “nutrition labels” to combat misinformation is more important than ever. This invitation-only event will bring together leading AI developers, technologists, human rights experts and academics to discuss implications of AI-driven misinformation and drive collective action on techniques to address it, including watermarking and the C2PA Content Credentials global standard.

CAI Community Demos and Reception

CAI Community Demos

The C2PA global standard and its clear, verifiable Content Credentials are powering a movement for transparency in digital media through the CAI's open-source tools and global community. Through Demos during the reception, we're thrilled to feature best-in-class implementations across applications, devices, and services with CAI members:

  • DataTrails: Establishing a new and better model of digital trust by assuring provenance and integrity of data crossing business and application boundaries.

  • Leica Camera AG: The M11-P, the world's first production camera to guarantee the source of images through the Content Credentials standard.

  • ProofMode: Capture, share, and preserve verifiable photos and videos for Android and iOS.

  • Nikon: Content Credentials technology in exhibiting cameras, the industry-leading mirrorless Z 9, bringing provenance and authenticity to digital images at the point of capture.

  • Reuters: Preserving trust in photojournalism through authentication technology.

  • SmartFrame: Building trusted collections with New Zealand Rugby and Manchester City F.C., using Content Credentials and image-streaming technology to serve and protect images.

  • Truepic, Pixelstream, BioBioChile: The first end-to-end Content Credentials workflow for news, implemented by BioBioChile with Truepic’s Mobile Capture and Pixelstream’s CDN and image-editor platform.
